May Harvest Of The Month: Strawberries!
May’s Local Harvest of the Month is Strawberries! Fresh Strawberries are hard to beat, especially when they are local and in season! PWCS Nutrition serves them fresh on their Self-Serve Garden and Fruit Bars, and they also feature them in their beloved Scratch-Made Strawberry Shortcake! Below is the Strawberry Shortcake recipe if you would like to make this School Lunch favorite at home! PWCS Nutrition uses frozen strawberries in their Strawberry Shortcake because it is made it year round, but you can use fresh strawberries too!
