Hello Pennington Families!
As you know, parent volunteering is a required part of the experience of being a Pennington Blue Jay. We use Raptor not only to conduct background checks for all of our school visitors, but also to track volunteer hours.
As an agreement to be enrolled in Pennington's specialty program:
PARENTS/GUARDIANS are REQUIRED to complete 10 school-related volunteer hours per child enrolled at Pennington. Hours are capped at 40 hours per family. Parents and students not meeting the minimum required hours (Parent Volunteer and Student Community Service Hours) may be subject to a review for continued enrollment as students at Pennington.
When families check in through the school office to volunteer, their time will automatically be tracked a logged inside of the Raptor Volunteer Portal. In order to log volunteer hours that happen outside the school day or building, you will be able to manually do this inside the portal.
