THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL COUNSELING PROGRAM
The Elementary School Counseling Program in PWCS is designed to meet the needs of all students and to be inclusive, preventive, and developmental in nature. School counseling is available in each Prince William County School according to Virginia State Standards of Quality Each school’s Professional School Counselor designs and implements a comprehensive school counseling program to address the needs of each school based on the needs of the students and the community which is served. Elementary School Counselors work collaboratively with all stakeholders (students, parents, teachers, and staff) together to collaboratively partner in the educational process.
THE SECONDARY SCHOOL COUNSELING PROGRAM
The Secondary Counseling Program is a comprehensive developmental school counseling program, which is available in each Prince William County middle and high school. Communication and support among school counselors and school counseling directors is provided through meetings, consultation, and correspondence to ensure effective operation of school counseling programs in compliance with guidelines, regulations, and legal requirements.
Remove classes from School Fusion?When you change classes, the old classes stay in School Fusion until you remove them. To remove the old classes: Log onto School Fusion. Go to "My Personal Settings", "My Groups". Go into the old section first to make sure it is the one that you wish to delete. Click the "X"to the right of the section to be deleted. This can only be done through the student log in.

HIGH SCHOOL SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
Prince William County High Schools offer variousSpecialty Programs for 9th grade. If you are interested, you areinvited toattend the Specialty Program Information Meeting on OCT23 @ 7:00 at Stonewall Jackson High School. Get information about all specialty , Engineering , CTEandROTC programs offered in Prince William County Schools. Individual meetings about specific programs will be announced. This is your best opportunity to get an overview of all of the opportunities that are available in 9th grade!

Meet with my counselor?A student may come to the Counseling Office with a pass from his or herteacher. There are forms located in each classroom that students may fill out as needed. Students may also talk to the counselor during arrival, lunch and dismissal.Parents and teachers may also refer students to see the counselor as they see fit.
